How you can help

Perhaps you’re not pregnant or a student parent, but you’d like to know ways in which you can help out to make your campus more inclusive for pregnant women and student parents. There are plenty of things that you can do to help out!

Student Politics

Run your own student motion!

This might sound pretty daunting, but we have a guide for how you can put forward a motion in your Students Union AGM. Putting forward a student motion will raise awareness around the topic, and it will also allow your Students Union to vote on actual positive action that can happen on your campus. Contact us and ask for it!

Create Awareness

Run your own awareness event!

There are many things that you can do to raise awareness on campus. We have some ideas about events that you could put on to raise awareness, from chatting with friends to setting up a student parent help bank for your university. Contact us for more information!

Contact your University

Let your university know how you feel about inclusivity for student parents on campus.

As a student or a staff member you are able to contact the university to explain what change is needed on campus, and why it is important. Don’t worry if you don’t know what to say, we have written a template letter that you can use for inspiration. You should address this letter to your university President or Chancellor. Contact us to ask for the template!
